Dear Friends at the Citadel,
You may wonder why we keep returning to the Citadel Halifax Hotel
each time we visit the International Tattoo in Halifax. We believe this to be
our fifth visit this year and we are looking forward to our stay.
Five years ago when we entered the hotel lobby, we were warmly
greeted by the hotel staff. There was especially one person, Ali, who seemed to
go out of her way to please make us feel welcome. So we decided each time we visit
Halifax we would stay with The Citadel.
Not only did we find it hospitable, but the staff from the doorman
to the cleaning staff were professional, caring and polite. Our room was always
clean and a pleasure to be in after driving the amount of miles we covered coming
to Halifax.
We have recommended the Citadel to our friends who have received
the same fine treatment we received. Both Mrs. Hitchcock and I found the restaurant
a nice place to eat and very convenient!

Junior Suites
Our spacious Junior Suites have one bedroom with a queen bed and a separate living area.
The living area has a couch with a pull-out day bed, easy chairs, television with on-command
internet services and music, and on demand movies. The guestroom and living areas are equipped
with all the latest amenities such as secure electronic door locks, coffee maker with complimentary
coffee and tea, iron and ironing board, mini refrigerator, hair dryers and in addition
to being air conditioned, windows in the suite open to allow for fresh air. Complimentary
continental breakfast and local calls are included.
